LARGER MATERIALS NEEDED:

NOTE: the dimensions of these wood pieces will vary depending on the size of your pot. The pot used for our build was 14" wide, 7.5" tall, and the base of the pot had about a 9.5" diameter, so adjust accordingly. We used Walnut wood, however you can use whatever type you'd like.

· 1" diameter hardwood dowels cut to approximately 18" length - quantity 4 (10.5" taller than the pot)

· ¾" thick x 2" wide x 15 ¼" long wood strips - quantity 2 (length- top diameter of pot plus 1 ¼")

· ¾" thick x at least 10 ½" x 10 ½" wood piece - quantity 1 (bottom diameter of pot plus 1")

TOOLS & SMALLER MATERIALS NEEDED:

· ½" Forstner wood drilling bit

· ¼" brad point wood drilling bit

· ¼" dowel center points - quantity 2

· 1" diameter x 2" tall sanding drum

· Beeswax or similar wood polish

· Titebond 3 wood glue or similar

· Marking pencil

· ¼" hardwood dowels 1" long - quantity 8

· ½" brass (or wood, doesn’t matter) dowel approx. 1" long - quantity 1
